Laser Hair Removal (Long Pulsed Nd: Yag laser and IPL)
Effective hair removal is accomplished through the utilization of various systems such as Cutera Excel HR, XEO IPL, Sciton ClearScan Long Pulsed Nd:Yag laser, and Sciton BBL (IPL). The recommended number of treatment sessions to achieve the desired results depends on the skin and hair type, as well as the location of the hairs.
How does it work:

The laser employed in hair removal targets the hair follicle, resulting in its impairment and removal of the hair with minimal harm to the adjacent skin.
Approximately 70-80% of individuals treated with laser hair removal experience a permanent reduction in hair growth, with the best outcomes achieved through multiple treatment sessions. However, a few hairs may regrow over time, necessitating occasional touch-up treatments for hair removal.
Hair growth occurs in different phases, and lasers are most effective against hair in the active growth phase. It is recommended that patients undergo a series of four to eight laser hair removal treatments, spaced four to eight weeks apart, depending on the treated area.
PROCEDURE
Laser hair removal typically causes a prickling or rubber-band snapping sensation. Before the procedure, a topical anaesthetic cream is typically applied for 30 to 45 minutes. After the treatment, no special precautions are required. While some of the treated hairs may burn off immediately, most of the hair that has been treated will not fall out until two weeks later. Mild redness and swelling are normal post-treatment reactions, but they usually resolve within a few hours to one or two days.
Upper lip and chin laser hair removal treatments typically take only 5 minutes, while underarms and bikini lines require approximately 10-15 minutes. However, larger areas such as the legs and back will require more time.
